The certification of our quality management for the production of expanded metal according to DIN EN ISO 9001 has been renewed last month and is now valid until 2015.

Of course the new quality management certificate is now available for download (German, English and Russian language).

Between March 27th – 29th we had the opportunity to present our AeroMesh products for space and aircraft technologies to the public at the JEC tradeshow in Paris together with our American Partners from NExT Aerospace.

We were very happy and surprised to see the great interest in these new and innovative products.

Therefore we would like to thank all our visitors and interested partys. We enjoyed meeting you at the JEC.

We are happy to support the Formula Student racing team from Karlsruhe (Germany) “KA RaceIng” with AeroMesh 195 material for their KIT12e racing car.

The picture shows the 2011 KIT11 with combustion engine.

The Formula Student is a racing event held on Hockenheimring in which students from different universities compete with self engineered racing cars . This year 108 teams from more than 20 different countries take part in the competition.

We will keep our fingers crossed for the KA RaceIng team and good racing results for the 2012 season. Furthermore we are excited to see the new KIT12e.

At the end of last year the latest edition of our SP-750 expanded metal production line could successfully be finished.

The line consists of our high-performance SP-750 machine with a maximum press power of 45 tons, the FLW-750/F flattening/levelling unit and the highly flexible and versatile MC-750 multicut shear.

We are happy to announce that our AEROMESH department for space and aircraft industries has successfully passed the Airbus IPCA qualification process this week.

We were able to reach the impressing amount of 92,5% of the available qualification scores. 80% are necessary to pass qualification.

This was another milestone that paves our way as supplier for the Airbus A350 series production.

This video shows a fully automatic expanded metal production line consisting of decoiler AW 1250, SP 1250 expanded metal machine, FLW 1250/F flattening/levelling device, multicut-shear MC 1250 and our AU 1250 recoiler.

We added a new video to our youtube-channel. The video shows a fully automatic expanded metal production system consisting of a destacking unit, a hydraulic electronic gripper feeder and the SP-3100 expanded metal machine.

We are happy to announce that Benmetal finally signed a procurement frame contract with EADS/Airbus after an extended period of testing, development and qualification.

Subject of this contract is the delivery of AEROMESH expanded metal products for the AIRBUS A350 project as well as further research and development in the fields of expanded metal products for the use in space and aircraft technologies.

The production of these AEROMESH products is running on brand new expanded metal lines which were especially designed for these products. To meet the high quality and safety requirements for aeronautical products the new production lines were set up on a newly built and separated production floor .
